At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought.

Or, A Brief Exerpt from the Final Portion of the Miss Teen U.S.A. 2007 Competition, Acquired by Pausing and Rewinding Live Television

Question for top-five contestant Miss South Carolina:

"Recent polls have shown that a fifth of Americans can’t identify the U.S. on a world map. Why do you think this is?"

Her response, verbatim:

"I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because, uh, some people out there in our nation don’t have maps, and I believe that our education like such as, uh, South Africa and The Iraq everywhere like such as, and, I believe that they should, our education over here in the U.S. should help the U.S., or should help South Africa and should help The Iraq and the Asian countries, so we will be able to build up our future for our . . . " [host Mario Lopez pulls the microphone away]

Everyone in the room is now dumber for having listened to your answer. Miss South Carolina, I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I sat here for a good two minutes trying to come up with a clever comment, but I have no words.

I would like to know, though, if Miss South Carolina can show me The Iraq on a map...
